The dog party help September 18, 2011 was a great success! Thank you to Kathleen Patrick for organizing the entire event. Animal Medical Professional attended the party and gave pet advice when asked.

The Dog Party held on September 18, 2011 was a great success! Bloom Photography was there and capture our wonderful moments. Pictures will be posted once available.

Thank you to add that attended! There were about 20 dogs and 30 people in the park at one time and I are very proud to say there was not one dog scuffle that broke out! And that is more than amazing with that many dogs and people present.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press ran an article on Monday, September 19 bringing attention to the dog park.

Also, Latice Currie from WRCB mentioned the dog park on the Monday morning news. I have sent a request off to get a clip of that and will post to the website once I have obtained it.

Raising Money

We are now ready to start raising money for the equipment needed for the park. I have created a "Contributions" page to accept payments via PayPal and checks.

If you have ideas on how we can raise funds, get in touch with me and let's get started!

I will be printing full sheet color and taking to retail locations I have connections at, as well as printing business cards with the information for others to take home and contribute. Please folks, get in touch with me and get a supply of the same to take to retail locations that you have connections at.

The fence is completed

We're still not suppose to use the park, but the fence is up! You can truly get a feel of what we have to come.

I am waiting for Parks & Rec to get me information about the benches so we can come together and get them purchased.

The water needs to be run and the fountain installed.

The rules need to be posted, as well as baggy dispensers and a garbage can.

Then the last piece - insurance approval.....

I visited the site this morning with the Parks & Rec rep. The post holes are being dug and cemented today. The fence will be installed today as well. We will not be able to use the park yet. But it's moving along.
